Day 01 : Cochin
Arrive at Cochin. Meet and assist at the airport. Transfer to the hotel for
overnight stay.
Day 02 : Cochin
After breakfast, proceed for full day city tour of Cochin. Cochin is the
natural harbour created by the famed underwater Malabar mud-banks whose
quality ensures that the rougher the seas are outside the calmer the waters
are within the Harbour. Vasco-de-Gama placed it on the world map. It has a
Jewish synagogue, Portuguese Churches, Mosques & Hindu temples,
Mattancherry Palace etc. Watch the Chinese Fishing Nets. Evening enjoy the
Kathakali Dance. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03 : Cochin - Munnar
After breakfast, drive to Munnar, 130 hrs and 03 hrs drive. Munnar at a
height of 5000 to 8000 ft above sea level, is at the centre of three
mountain streams, Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. It is no wonder that
the area boasts of exotic flora and fauna. Upon arrival transfer to the
hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure at the hotel or you may enjoy the
wonderfull whether of Munnar, on your own. Later visit the Tea Estates.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04 : Munnar
After breakfast full day visit of Munnar. Visit of Eravikulam National
Park,the best place to see Nilgiri Tahr (Hermitragus Hylcrious) -the
mountain goat of South India. Visit Mattupatty dam. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 : Munnar - Periyar
After breakfast, drive to Periyar (Thekkady), 120 kms- 4 hrs drive. Periyar
Wildlife Sanctuary, one of the largest wildlife reserves in India, it
occupies 777 sq. kms. of the Cardamom Hills region of the Western Ghats.
Afternoon game viewing inside the park. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 06 : Periyar
Morning game viewing by the boat in the sanctuary, surrounded by the hills.
Wildlife includes elephants, gaur, wild dogs, otters, freshwater tortoise
and bird species like heroin, kingfisher, hornbill, water and fishbowls can
be seen here. Afternoon visit of spice plantations. Overnight at the hotel
the hotel.
Day 07 : Periyar - Kumarakom
After breakfast, drive to Kumarakom (130 km / 4 hrs) negotiates some of
India's most stunning scenery. From the sea of clouds over the Cardamom
Hills we descend into the lush backwaters of Kerala to Kumarakom. Afternoon
visit Kumarakom bird sanctuary. Overnight at Kumarakom.
Day 08 : Kumarakom - Houseboat
Morning fre for leisure. Afternoon board the houseboat from the jetty. This
will be spectacular experience to explore the natural beauty of Kerala.
While sailing through the backwaters and canals you can see various village
activities going on both sides. Overnight on Board.
Day 09 : Houseboat - Alleppey - Alleppey - Trivandrum - Kovalam
After breakfast, disembark the houseboat. Later drive to Kovalam, 175 kms
and 04 hrs drive. On arrival transfer to Hotel.
Day 10 : Kovalam
Morning excursion to Trivandrum, a City built over seven Luxuriously
forested hills. You can visit Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Zoological Park,
Napier Museum, Sri Chitra Art Gallery, Science & Technology Museum, Veli
Lagoon, Shanmugham Beach, Aruvikkara Dam and Neyyar Dam, SMSM Institute etc.
Overnight at Hotel Kovalam. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 11 : Kovalam - excursion to Kanyakumari
Full day excursion to Kanyakumari (also known as Cape Comorin which is 67
kms / 1 ½ 2 Hrs) -the tip of peninsular India where 3 seas -Indian
Ocean, Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal meet. Enroute visiting
Padmanabhapuram Palace_well known for wooden works. In Kanyakumari visit
Kanyakumari Temple, Gandhi Memorial, Vivekananda Memorial,
Sunrise-Sunset-Moonrise, Visit Kanyakumari Temple, Gandhi Memorial and
Vivekananda Memorial. Evening visit the spectacular Sunset and drive back to
Kovalam hotel.
Day 12 : Kovalam
Full day free to relax on the beach. Overnight in hotel
Day 13 : Kovalam - Trivandrum Out
After breakfast, drive to Trivendrum, 17 Kms and 30 min drive, and connect
your international flight for home. (Hotel Checkout 12:00 Hrs).
