Day 01 : Bangalore
Arrive
Bangalore. Meeting and assistance at the Airport. Transfer to Hotel.
Overnight at Hotel at Bangalore.
Day 02 : Bangalore - Mysore
After breakfast, visit Bangalore's botanical gardens before touring the
ancient Bull Temple and Tipu Sultan's Palace. Later drive to Mysore (140 kms
/ 3 hrs). Transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at Mysore.
Day 03 : Mysore
Full day city tour visiting Maharaja's Palace (One of the biggest in the
country) Chamarejendra Art Gallery, Nandi (Bull Vehicle of Shiva), Huge
figure of Demon Mahishasura, Govt. Silk Factory, Govt. Sandelwood Oil
factory etc. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 : Mysore - Ooty
After breakfast, drive to Ooty, 130 kms and 03 hrs. Later visit the
Botanical gardens and Toda tribal village, Evening at leisure to stroll
around the lake. Overnight at Hotel at Ooty.
Day 05 : Ooty
Full day free to explore the hill station. Overnight at Hotel at Ooty.
Day 07 : Ooty - Kodaikanal
Early morning drive to Kodaikanal, 260 kms and 05 hrs drive. Upon arrival
transfer to the hotel. Kodaikanal, also known as Kodai, is a quiet hill
resort in Tamil Nadu. Nestled at an altitude of 2133m on the Palani Hills of
the Western Ghats. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08 : Kodaikanal
Full day tour of Kodaikanal visiting Kodaikanal Lake, Coaker's Walk,
Astrophysical Observatory, Fairy Falls, Kurinji Andavar Temple, Shenbaganur
Museum, Pilar Rocks, Green Valley View. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09 : Kodaikanal - Munnar
After
breakfast, drive to Munnar, 170 kms and 04 hrs drive. Upon arrival transfer
to the hotel. Munnar at a height of 5000 to 8000 ft above sea level, is at
the centre of three mountain streams, Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala.
It is no wonder that the area boasts of exotic flora and fauna. Upon arrival
transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure at the hotel or
you may enjoy the wonderful whether of Munnar, on your own. Later visit the
Tea Estates. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10 : Munnar
After breakfast full day visit of Munnar. Visit of Eravikulam National
Park,the best place to see Nilgiri Tahr (Hermitragus Hylcrious) -the
mountain goat of South India. Visit Mattupatty dam. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 11 : Munnar - Cochin
After breakfast, drive to Cochin, 130 hrs and 03 hrs drive. Upon arrival
transfer to the hotel. Later proceed for full day city tour of Cochin.
Cochin is the natural harbour created by the famed underwater Malabar
mud-banks whose quality ensures that the rougher the seas are outside the
calmer the waters are within the Harbour. Vasco-de-Gama placed it on the
world map. It has a Jewish synagogue, Portuguese churches, Mosques &
Hindu temples, Mattancherry Palace etc. Watch the Chinese Fishing Nets.
Evening enjoy the Kathakali Dance. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 12 : Cochin / Out
Transfer to the Airport to catch flight for onward destination.
